The new 2023 Ford Bronco: It will do double-duty for you
The new 2023 edition of the Ford Bronco has the capability and the technology to do an outstanding job for you off-road while keeping you and your family comfortable when you're back on paved surfaces. You get an excellent lineup of powerful engines along with enough room for passengers and cargo. Take your pick from a nice variety of trim levels and put together a new Ford Bronco that's just what you want. Here's a closer look at the new Ford Bronco you can see at Bayird Ford in Malden MO.
What's new for 2023?
The Ford Bronco is adding two trims to its 2023 lineup, the Heritage and Heritage Limited models, and both are designed to remind you of the original Bronco from the 1960s. These are essentially appearance packages that include plaid upholstery that's, like, totally groovy, a white grille and white side stripes. The Heritage edition is based on the Big Bend model and adds the Sasquatch package. The more upscale Heritage Limited is based on the Badlands trim and adds the luxury of leather-trimmed seats.
For 2023, the new Ford Bronco gives buyers from Missouri a total of nine trims to pick from:
- Base
- Big Bend
- Black Diamond
- Outer Banks
- Heritage Edition
- Badlands
- Wildtrak
- Everglades
- Heritage Limited Edition
Engines and performance
At the base level, the new 2023 Ford Bronco gives you a standard 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that can generate a hefty 300 horsepower. If you want something a little bigger, you can move up to an available 2.7-liter V6 that will give you up to 330 horsepower. A 10-speed automatic comes with both gas-powered engines and you can get a 7-speed manual with the smaller engine. The Ford Bronco sends power to all four wheels and the independent front suspension is more advanced than Jeep's front axle.
Towing capacity
The Ford Bronco lets local drivers tow up to 3,500 pounds when it's properly equipped. That will be true whether you get the two-door Ford Bronco or the one with four doors.
Interior possibilities
The new Ford Bronco comes with an interior design that's both practical and rugged. Thanks to the Bronco's rubberized floor, marine grade vinyl upholstery and available drain plugs you don't need to worry about getting it dirty when you take off the top and remove the doors. The cabin is designed to welcome the weather inside and be easy to clean. The 2023 Ford Bronco has a convenient rack built into the top of its dashboard and that's where you can store a GoPro camera or a smartphone.
Interior seating and cargo
The new Ford Bronco in the two-door version can seat up to four while the four-door Bronco has enough room for as many as five. The front seats are spacious so if most of your trips are of the two-passenger variety, the two-door should work fine. If you have rear-seat passengers quite a bit, you'll want to get the four-door model that's much more family-friendly. The four-door provides 35.6 cubic feet of space behind the rear seats and 77.6 cubic feet when you fold those seats down.
Infotainment technology
An 8-inch touch screen comes standard on the Ford Bronco and so does wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ along with a seven-speaker stereo. You can upgrade to a 12-inch touch screen, a 10-speaker stereo, wireless device charging and a 120-volt household style power outlet.
