2022 Ford F-250 at Bayird Ford

The Ford F-250 is one of the most popular heavy-duty trucks on the highway today. The Super Duty, as the F-250 is known, can be a rugged and capable work truck, or you can use it as a luxury family vehicle. Plus, the Super Duty can serve as a mobile office due to its Wi-Fi connectivity and a center console that you can use to hold a laptop. In addition, the F-250 is often a customer favorite for those who enjoy towing a fifth-wheel camper or a large fishing boat. The F-250 is highly customizable, capable, and comfortable for long trips. Plus, its ruggedly handsome good looks tend to turn heads as drivers traverse life's highway.

The new F-250 offers several powertrains to suit every driver's needs. The standard engine is a 6.2-liter V8 gas-powered engine paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. Drivers have the option to choose a 10-speed automatic from the models in our new inventory. This standard powertrain offers drivers 385 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque. Rear-wheel drive is standard, but most trims offer four-wheel drive.

Optional engine choices include a 7.3-liter V8 offering 430 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque, and a 6.7-liter V8 diesel that provides drivers with 475 horsepower and 1,050 pound-feet of torque. We recommend that you schedule routine Ford service and repairs as needed to maintain your truck's performance.

Drivers who work in treacherous off-road conditions, or those who simply enjoy the great outdoors, may choose the optional Tremor package, which pumps up the off-roading capabilities of the Super Duty. The Tremor package adds a factory lift kit and off-road tires in addition to other upgrades to the suspension.

The Super Duty offers a wide range of payload and towing capacities. Exactly how much your Super Duty will tow and haul will depend upon the configuration drivers choose. However, the F-250 may tow up to 24,200 pounds with a conventional bumper-pull hitch, up to 37,000 pounds when towing a fifth-wheel or gooseneck trailer, and the maximum payload capacity of the F-250 is 7,850 pounds.

The new Ford F-250 is a balance of form and function. The F-250 may can be a single cab, or drivers may opt for the Super Crew configuration or the Super Cab. The Super Cab is a four-door configuration, but the rear doors are smaller, and they open backward; the Super Crew offers four full-size doors that open naturally. There are three bed lengths to choose from when configuring the Super Duty: regular, long, and short length. It's important to note, however, that certain cab configurations require specific bed lengths. For instance, drivers are unable to choose a single cab configuration with a short bed.

The interior of the Ford F-250 may be as spartan or as luxurious as the driver chooses. The XL and XLT offer everything drivers need in a work truck, while the King Ranch and Limited offer creature comforts like leather, a sunroof, and heated seats.

All Ford F-250 trucks can feature an infotainment touchscreen, Bluetooth connectivity, and a mobile Wi-Fi hotspot. Ford SYNC® is also standard across trims.
